Photo taken on 4/08/06 in Ashridge (on my aborted first attempt at walking the Ashridge Estate Boundary Trail)

This plant grows in damp woods and flowers from July to September. It is part of a plant family called Umbellifers, because the flower clusters resemble the shape of umbrellas.
