Pete's Walks - Raven

Sergeant Man, Cumbria, 09/05/07

This bird homed in on my friend Martin and I as we were eating our sandwiches on top of Sergeant Man in the Lake District (it's near the Langdale Pikes). It landed and approached within 10-20 feet of us, obviously hoping to share our lunch! I know sheep in the Lake District do this, but hadn't realised the local Ravens also did so! Having said that, we remembered another Raven coming also quite close to us when we were eating lunch on Cofa Pike the year before.
