Pete's Walks - Aylesbury Ring

About my walk

I walked the Aylesbury Ring in late February and early March 2006. I chose to start my walk at Wendover - I had a slight cold at the time and so preferred to start with the two slightly shorter walks to Waddesdon first, rather than the longer ones from Waddesdon to Wendover. As usual, I did the walk ‘both ways’, each day walking so many miles along the route before turning round and retracing my steps to the car. I chose to start each walk in the clockwise direction, and my journal therefore describes the route in that direction.

All the mileages given are very, very approximate and are not to be relied upon.

Click here to see a very rough map of the Aylesbury Ring (but only if you have already read my disclaimer and notes regarding maps).

Note: I have numbered each photograph (in red) and inserted the same number in the text to show where in the walk the photo was taken.
