Pete's Walks - Berkshire-Essex Walk

About my walk

I walked the Berkshire-Essex Walk during June and July 2006 - it was the hottest July ever recorded, so there were two lengthy gaps between walks due to heat waves!

As usual, I walked the route both ways - each day that I would set off from my car, walk about 7.5 miles along the route, then turn round and walk back the same way.

All the mileages given are very, very approximate and are not to be relied upon.

Click here to see a very rough map of the Berkshire-Essex Walk (but only if you have already read my disclaimer and notes regarding maps).

Note: I have numbered each photograph (in red) and inserted the same number in the text to show where in the walk the photo was taken.
